Western Bible College was my starting place for ministry. God used the professors to give me a strong Biblical foundation for ministry. It was more than information; it was the character of each person that made the information palatable and lasting. I hope to be able to emulate the effect each has had on me as I am given the opportunity to teach." - Rev. Richard Van Proyen, alumnus

As a late in life college student I found Western Bible College to be a great fit for me. Life and ministry experience had given me clarity of calling that I didn’t have as a youth. They gave me the freedom to focus my studies specifically to advance myself in the area of my calling." - Tim D. Ware, AG US Missionary Consultant

Upon graduation, I applied for my initial license with the Assemblies of God. Today I celebrate about 20 years of being an ordained minister. I am the associate pastor in Fountain of Life Community Church, A/G, in Prescott Valley, Arizona. Under the direction of my Pastor, Dan Crouch, I am given the opportunity to teach the adult class and to teach Wednesday's Bible Study." - Rev. Gene White, alumnus and current associate pastor at Fountain of Life Community Church, AG

Western Bible College is advancing the kingdom of God by effectively preparing people for ministry in a Spirit-driven environment.

WBC, a non-residential college, is owned and operated by the Arizona District Council of the Assemblies of God with a history of "equipping men and women for ministry." Ninety percent of the students are enrolled in the pastoral ministries program. Western offers a B.A. in Christian Education, Biblical Studies, Pastoral Ministry and World Missions. In addition, an Associate of Arts in Biblical Studies is available. The majority of classes take place in the evening.

The future is very promising for the college as the population explodes across the southwest region of the United States. With several Assemblies of God churches located across the area, the potential for ministry opportunities is vast. Come and experience the beauty of the Southwest as you continue your preparations for ministry!
