SAGU is my home away from home. Almost everyone here I call family or friend. My professors are invested in my life - they are concerned about me and really do pray for me." - Chantal Jules, student

Because my classes address multi-cultural counseling, I am learning how to be more effective in the culture that I am living. Not only am I learning more techniques to minister to people in a more holistic, therapeutic way, but I am learning how to better understand the people's real need, instead of responding to what I perceive the need to be." - Vandy Saenz, student, AG US Missionary, Thailand

SAGU's reputable counseling/psychology program was a natural fit for me. I could not do this work without an understanding of how trauma affects a person, and tools with which to assist our girls to work through the trauma they have been through." - Crystal Sprague, alumna, Executive Director of My Refuge House

About

SAGU has provided Bible-based education since 1927. With one professor to every 19 students, professors meet individual student needs and personally invest in students' success. SAGU fosters a strong spiritual environment. Daily chapel services, classroom prayer, dorm devotionals and team ministry create opportunities for students to grow spiritually with peers who share their values.

SAGU's education department has a 100 percent state-certification passage rate. SAGU will minister in every country, Indian state and Chinese province in the next ten years through an initiative known as Mission TEN (To Every Nation). And SAGU athletics was awarded the Champions of Character award by the NAIA.

New dorms and a new fitness center provide a premier living experience. A World Communication Center will be constructed in 2012 to meet the needs of the growing music, theatre and digital media arts programs.
