At AGTS we believe that our students are key players in what God is doing in the world today. Our mission is to shape servant leaders with knowledge, skill and passion to revitalize the Church and evangelize the world in the power of the Spirit. We believe that sharp minds and passionate hearts belong together in people who are being obedient to Christ's direction for their lives and are being developed as leaders for Christ's Kingdom." - Byron Klaus, President

At AGTS I found an environment where world class scholarship is enhanced by Holy Spirit empowerment. As a man, I was transformed. As a leader, I was equipped." - Bryan Jarrett, alumnus

AGTS is a community of scholar-practitioners. We are students and faculty who want to live the "both-and" life—both deeply devoted to discovering treasures from the text, and totally committed to sharing these truths in ministry. Yet transcending even the realms of the academic and the applied is our desire for spiritual theology: to intimately know the God of the Word and to daily experience the life of mutual adding—we in Christ and Christ in us. If this is the journey that you are most committed to, you will enjoy traveling with this band of pilgrims at AGTS. - Deborah Gill, Professor of Biblical Studies and Exposition

About

At AGTS we believe that every student has a destiny to fulfill in what God is doing globally. We want to create a context in which learning is maximized for thorough engagement in the challenges of this world and where students can encounter the mission of God dynamically.

We believe that the AGTS experience helps create leaders who understand that we need the empowerment of the Spirit to meet contemporary challenges. We trust emphatically in the authority of God's Word to give us clear direction, and we have a deep reservoir of hope that the ministry of our students will have a global impact in the years to come.
