Every two years, students from AG colleges embark on a journey that pulls them into an extraordinary mixture of new culture, old traditions and ministry opportunities. Students put down their books and pick up their feet as they travel to cities and regions far from the US for two months. Building relationships is the primary focus of these international trips, as students learn from the host culture they are ministering to in order to create a culturally relevant Gospel.
Last year in May, 25 students headed to three different parts in Asia to communicate the gospel. Before leaving, they were first provided an extensive orientation to aid them in transitioning into life overseas. These students participated in coffee shop ministry, teaching English, and other methods to establish relationships and meet world and spiritual needs.
