$24,000: Up to $400/month for three consecutive years in full-time Assemblies of God ministerial service
When our students graduate and find a ministerial position, some find that they cannot afford their educational loan payments with their income. The AG Next Generation Grant provides a boost to your loan payments, enabling you to stay in the ministry and serve without such a large financial burden. We desire our AG alumni to follow their ministerial calling without financial stress!
Havre de Grace, Maryland
I graduated from Valley Forge Christian College in Phoenixville, Pa., and then earned two master’s degrees from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. My wife and I then moved to Maryland and launched a new church in Havre de Grace in 2011.
As a graduate of an AG college, launching into the world of church planting, few miracles have confirmed my calling clearer than when I was awarded the AG Trust scholarship. Without the AGTrust Next Generation Grant underwriting my necessary school debt, it would have been hard to take great steps of faith for the cause of Christ. I want to thank you for making my dream of starting a new church a reality.
I have seen God begin to transform Pittsburgh’s South Side as we have served the people through various service projects, ministry to the large homeless population, and events and activities for their kids — whose lives are often overshadowed by the bars and nightlife. It is my passion to see this community completely transformed by the love of Christ — encountering Him as they interact with His Church. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to AGTrust donors for the investment you have made in my life and the lives we are reaching here in Pittsburg. You are truly helping to advance the kingdom of God.
