Waxahachie, TX–The Florida Youth Orchestra premiered the 4th symphony of an orchestral work by Dr. Dan Fulmer, a well-known composer and assistant professor of music at SAGU, at Carnegie Hall in New York City on April 7, 2002. The piece entitled "A Mortuis Exitare Et Obviam Domino In Aera," (Awake from the Dead and Meet the Lord in the Air), is based on I Thessalonians 4:13-18 and was written to provide comfort for those who have lost loved ones.
