AGTS Professor Defends Dissertation

Springfield, MO–Barbara Cavaness, Visiting Professor of Missions and an experienced career missionary, has made a valuable contribution to the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary during the last nine years. AGTS is proud to announce that she has successfully defended her dissertation "Factors Influencing Decrease in the Number of Single Women in Assemblies of God World Missions" for the Ph.D. at Fuller Theological Seminary.

Dr. Cavaness was chosen to receive the School of World Mission's History Award which will be presented at the Fuller Seminary Student Awards Convocation on May 29. The History Award honors the graduate whose thesis or dissertation best handles some significant aspect of the historical development of the Christian movement.
