2001 Administrator and Educator Awards
Every two years at the General Council, the Christian Higher Education
Department recognizes college administrators and faculty members
for faithful service to Christian higher education.
This year over 20 individuals were recognized for years of continued
service to the colleges of the Assemblies of God. Each of this year's
recipients received a pin stating years of service and a certificate.
The following administrators received the 20-year pin:
- Reverend Dwight C. Colbaugh, Evangel University, 23 years
of service
- Mr. George F. Crawford, Evangel University, 27 years of
service
- Dr. Edgar R Lee, Assemblies of God Theological Seminary,
20 years of service
- Mr. James H. Williams, Evangel University, 21 years of service
- The following administrators received the 30-year pin:
- Mr. Thomas J. Keltner, Evangel University, 31 years of service
- Mr. W. E. "Gene" Thomlinson, Evangel University, 32 years
of service
The following educators received the 25-year pin:
- Dr. Benny Aker, Assemblies of God Theological Seminary,
25 years of service
- Dr. David G. Clark, Vanguard University, 26 years of service
- Dr. Pansy R. Collins, Evangel University, 27 years of service
- Dr. Vincent E. Gil, Vanguard University, 25 years of service
- Dr. Duane E. Huechteman, Evangel University, 25 years of
service
- Mr. LeRoy A. Kirschenmann, Trinity Bible College, 27 years
of service
- Reverend Woodvall R. Moore, Evangel University, 25 years
of service
- Dr. Eliezer Oyola, Evangel University, 25 years of service
- Dr. David L. Stair, Evangel University, 25 years of service
The following educators received the 35-year pin:
- Dr. Glenn H. Bernet, Evangel University, 38 years of service
- Dr. Joseph T. Bohanon, Evangel University, 38 years of service
- Dr. James A. Edwards, Evangel University, 38 years of service
- Dr. Calvin M. Johansson, Evangel University, 37 years of
service
- Dr. Dennis M. McNutt, Vanguard University, 35 years of service
- Mr. John S. Shows, Evangel University, 35 years of service
The Distinguished Administrator award was presented to Dr. Edgar
R. Lee from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. The Distinguished
Educator award was presented to Dr. Vincent E. Gil from Vanguard
University and Dr. Gary B. McGee from the Assemblies of God Theological
Seminary.
