The Evangel University Social Work Program and Missouri State University’s School of Social Work will present a free ethics seminar on Friday, March 1. The program is designed to meet the 3-hour ethics licensure requirement for licensed clinical social workers.
The seminar, Ethics: From Theory to Process by Dr. Dan Sontheimer, will be held from 1-4:30 p.m. in Evangel’s Trask Hall 101.
All human service professionals are encouraged to participate. Attendees will be awarded three contact hours.
“We want to honor social workers and the profession during National Social Work Month. Providing a free ethics seminar will hopefully be a token of gratitude to those who give so much to our community,” said Professor Lacey Nunnally, director of Evangel’s social work program.
On-site registration will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, March 1, or participants may pre-register online.
Light refreshments will be served.
