NCU Hosts "Partners for Progress" Banquet

North Central University is honored to host the annual Partners for Progress Banquet at 7:00pm on October 27th, 2011 at the Historic Depot, located downtown Minneapolis, MN.  North Central’s partners and friends will gather for a gala celebrating NCU’s past, present, and exciting future. The evening will include dinner and inspirational music by students, faculty, and alumni.

The titled theme of this year's banquet is "Globally Influential.” For over 80 years North Central has invested in the lives of young men and women who have gone on to exemplify the love and power of Jesus Christ worldwide, both in ministry and the marketplace.

This year’s guest speaker is North Central alumnus Dick Brogden. Having served among the unreached since 1992, Brogden has developed innovative ministry methods. Dick has written several books including Love Muslims, The Live Dead Journal, and Saharan Siftings: Lessons from the Desert.

All of the funds raised at the 2011 event will go towards the renovation of dormitories in Carlson Hall. The G. Raymond Carlson Hall is a traditional style residence hall, with common lounges, prayer rooms, bathrooms, and laundry facilities on each floor. Purchased in 1968, with 78,712 square feet, Carlson Hall is the main dormitory for men on campus.

You can be a part of this campaign for the renovation of Carlson Hall by visiting the NCU Donation Page and selecting Partners for Progress as the selected fund type.
